We believe in One God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death and atonement through His blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His personal return in power and glory. He is the only savior of mankind. The Holy Bible, which is the fully and uniquely inspired Word of God, the only sufficient and authoritative rule of faith and practice. Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. The spirituality of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, the body of Christ, who comprise the Church/Fellowship. Why do we need fellowship with Christians? Minister to each other - built up believers in truth of God's love (inward) Out reach - proclaim Christ to the world around you, which includes giving, helping, receiving and both are integral part of meaningful fellowship (outward) (Ref: Ephesians 4:2-6, Colossians 3:15-17, 1 John 4:11&21, Galatians 6:2)
Why Fellowship is important? Spur one another (Heb 10:24-25) Sharpen one another (Proverb 27:17) Encourage one another on daily basis (Heb 3:13)
Note: Through fellowship we should gain spiritual knowledge. It involves our walk with Christ. Together we can do things for Christ more effectively. To encourage one another in their needs, uplift, pray with one another. |
